Certified divers of any experience level are welcome to join our daily boat dives to some of the best dive sites in all of Roatan. All of our fun dive packages include: Boat ride, dive guide, tanks, weights, equipment rental, and all taxes/fees.

Roatan is one of the top 10 diving destinations in the Caribbean listed by PADI and DiveIN.com for 2022. Caribbean waters have unique marine life, pristine coral reefs, breath-taking schools of fish, wrecks and walls to explore. In order to try and preserve the reef and its natural beauty, over 329 dive and snorkel moorings have been installed around the island by The Roatan Marine Park. As a Certified Diver you will find Roatan, to be the place to explore the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef and discover amazing Caribbean marine life.

A quick and easy introduction into what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you’ll learn all the steps it takes to be a PADI certified diver.

This introductory program lets you try scuba diving under the direct supervision of a PADI professional. It is a fun experience incorporating an orientation session on the beach and a reef dive. It can count towards the PADI Open Water Diver Course when you choose to complete it. You will learn: key skills, basic scuba equipment use to easily move around underwater. This beginners program takes less that three hours, to sign up for PADI Discover Scuba Diving you must be at least ten tears old, no prior experience is required.

The instructors speak Italian, English, French, Spanish, and German. TGI Diving Roatan organizes three diving excursions a day. There are regular night dives on the beautiful reef of Roatan, just few minutes away from West Bay Beach.

The TGI Diving Roatan scuba program includes diving in the open water with Carribean Reef Sharks at the famous Cara-Cara Point, and with our diving center you can also obtain the Shark Diver Specialty course. TGI Diving Roatan also promote videos with sharks, so you can take home a personalised video of your Roatan shark diving experience.

Mary's Place is one of Roatan's most popular dive sites, and its only a short boat ride from Little French Key. On a typical dive day, the Scuba Shop will take guests out for a scuba diving adventure.

Snorkeling:

Explore Roatan’s Majestic Coral Reefs and Marine Life

About 95% of marine life species in the Caribbean make their home among Roatan’s reefs. The waters teem with vivid undersea wonders from a lush underwater garden of pristine corals and sponges to other marine residents like Caribbean reef sharks and loggerhead turtles.

With guided snorkel trips offered twice daily, you’ll have up-close encounters with diverse fish, coral, and other marine life. You can also snorkel at your own pace around Bailey’s Key or in the resort’s backyard lagoon.

Our snorkel packages include a convenient Underwater Fish ID card to help you spot Roatan’s indigenous organisms and sea life. When you book the 7-night Snorkel Package, you’ll also receive a dolphin beach encounter, a reef ecology lecture, and a fish ID slide show.

This is a 4 hour snorkeling tour along Roatán Northshore. We depart around 9am from the famous Blue Door dock and will be back around 1pm. The first 40 minutes of the tour we cruise inside and outside the reef through the mangroves to the first snorkel point. Snacks, fruit and beverages are served between each snorkel. Both snorkeling spots will be inside the reef in gorgeous lagoons with crystal clear water full of starfish and amazing soft coral. Our boats are comfortable and fully equipped.You will enjoy every moment of this amazing experience on the beautiful Roatan Reef.

On the way back from the tour you are welcome to stay at Puerta Azul for more snorkeling off the dock and to enjoy a delicious lunch with local chef Rose that will cook for you typical Island cuisine.

Horseback Riding:

Explore Roatan by Horse Back

This unforgettable and varied tour is predominantly on the beach in Sandy Bay. You will see mangroves, trees that live right in the ocean and are the nursery for many of ocean creatures, and ironshore (coral reef that emerged from the ocean centuries ago). You can walk, trot or gallop (depending on your riding ability) over a long stretch of secluded beach, with palms and pines on one hand and the crystal ocean on the other. Along the way, you will see a myriad of fruit trees - almond, cashew, banana, coconut, seagrape, guava, mango, papaya, to name a few. The tour will also take you through a residential area, where the street is lined with flowering shrubs - hibiscus, mandeville, bougainvillea, oleander. Keep you eyes open for lizards, iguanas, and birds such as parrots, frigate birds, pelicans, and woodpeckers. The tour lasts 1 1/2 hours.

The price is US$45 per person, unless you would like to be guaranteed a private ride where the price is US$60 per person.

The tour described above is our standard tour and is suitable for all riders, from the first time rider to the highly experienced. It is possible to change the tour to visit the mangroves, ride through the jungle, or do a beach only tour. These options will depend both on weather conditions and the riding abilities of all people on the tour. Please discuss any changes to the tour with the guide at saddling-up time

Horseback swimming at Little French Key is one of the most enjoyable activities we offer. And if you haven't ridden a horse on the beach before you should try it, you'll surely be glad you did.

Our horses start and end their day on the Roatan side of our property, where they have excellent stables and living quarters. Our horses do not live on LFK. Instead, they live on the main island of Roatan where they have access to a larger land area and where they can graze and rest.

Once you catch your breath at the bottom, there’s a jungle bus to take you back to our shaded viewpoint rest area at the top, or you can book our Zuper & Eco-Walk Combo to keep the adventure going, taking a series of walkways, suspension bridges, and stairs through the jungle to the top, enjoying the beauty of our nature reserve from a different perspective along the way.

It's fun to explore Roatan on a car or bus, but driving your own buggy or ATV offers an extra kick that you can't get anywhere else. We have heard your suggestions and prepared many East and West island itineraries for those who want to drive their own buggy, and then head out to an East Roatan itinerary on Van/Bus, for those who just want to sightsee and relax. All of those tours are customizable, if you feel the need to add something else to do during the day. Enjoy!

Fishing:

Gone Fishing

We offer fishing trips for everyone; whether you want a half or full day of fishing for the big gamers, we have the knowledge, equipment, experience and the comfort to fit your needs.

FISH ON!

We depart out of the West side of the island. We have an experienced licensed captain, crewman and the gear that it takes to get you to the fish. There is a maximum of 6 fishermen.

Frequently we are catching:

Tuna, Wahoo, Kingfish, & Mahi mahi

All our fishing packages include coffee, juices and waters and a variety of snacks, fruit and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic)

HALF DAY: 4 HOURS

Ruthless departs either at sunrise or sunset depending on your schedule and the best fishing times of the day.

FULL DAY: 8 HOURS

Departure time is around 6am and we will fish the length of the island, around the island or nearby islands depending on where the fish are.

All fishing trips can be pro-rated by the hour. Add or remove some time to our half or full day fishing charters to best fit your needs.

BIG GAME FISHING

Ruthless is no rookie when it comes to big gamers. We have what it takes to get you that "dream fish" and the story to go with it. We practice IGFA Big Game fishing rules with the catch and release system so there will always be fish to catch for everyone.

This trip includes a full day of fishing on and off shore depending on the species of billfish we are after. Blue Marlin, White Marlin and Sailfish are most common here and regularly caught during our best seasons from September to January.

We will depart from the West side of the island at 5:30am and return in the evening, or earlier depending on the catch. We have a maximum capacity of 10 people on this trip and the group will decide who reels in the big one!
